Kelly Ward
I am an Appalachian writer and graduate of West Virginia University’s MFA program. My work has appeared in Reed Magazine, Button Eye Review, and with Appalachia Book Company. I enjoy exploring speculative themes set in the central Appalachia region, and am quite lucky at finding four-leaf clovers.
Biography
Fiction writing is my passion, but my other interests include old-growth forests, publishing trends, Café Bustelo, and spoiling my cat, Nyx. In the summer I can usually be found with a vanilla milkshake, going for a drive through rural Kentucky with the windows rolled down.
